Frequently Asked Questions
AvoCadabra uses advanced AI to analyze visual characteristics like color, texture, and shape. While our accuracy is high, we recommend using our results as guidance along with traditional methods like the gentle squeeze test.
For best results, ensure good lighting and take a clear photo of the whole avocado.
Visual analysis has limitations. Some avocados ripen internally before showing external signs. If your avocado passes the gentle squeeze test (slight give when pressed), it may be ready despite our visual analysis.
Pro tip: Check the stem! If it pops off easily and is green underneath, it's likely ripe.
Open AvoCadabra and go to Settings. Tap "Restore Purchases" and sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account you used for the original purchase. Your lifetime access will be restored automatically.
Refunds are processed through Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). Please contact them directly for refund requests:

Make sure notifications are enabled for AvoCadabra in your device settings:
iOS: Settings > AvoCadabra > Notifications > Allow Notifications
Android: Settings > Apps > AvoCadabra > Notifications
We collect minimal data. Avocado images are sent to our AI for analysis but are not stored after processing. Your scan history is stored locally on your device only. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
The AI scanning feature requires an internet connection because the analysis is performed by our cloud-based AI. However, your saved avocado history and previous scan results are available offline.
